We were going to Six Flags but we wanted to have lunch before hand. We do rely on Yelp (but not completely) to guide is in good places to eat at. This one had a high rating, but also one of the oddest locations. It was at a gas station in the middle of highway. A drive from the malls or even Six Flags. But so worth it.
It was colorful upon stepping in. Just a couple of people on a Saturday, and a few more coming in as we placed our order. It looked like a hip place with what promised to be good food. I got the Tenderizer while Matt got the Classic. When we are truly hungry, we forget that we will be fine with just sharing a meal generally. We always remember halfway through. 🙂
Looking at our sandwiches, they looked good. Also big. Just imagining the salty melty stuff in it is enough to make me hungry for it now. It was just the right amount of salty, right amount of crunch on the bread, right amount of cheese. It was so good that even though I was full already, I still kept on taking small little bites.
I do like Matt’s sandwich better here. Just the natural flavors of grilled cheese in it, nothing of the fancy stuff that distracts you from other flavors. But this was a really good find. Another trip to Six Flags and I will be going here!
