Yes, that is the name of the place. I don’t think we need to guess what they sell! We passed this maybe a month ago and Matt said that that is a really good place to get fried chicken. And you know me. I love fried chicken. So the next time we were in the area, we made plans to eat here ta-dah, here we are now!
It was a nice breezy day so we opted to have our dinner outside. We ordered a four-piece chicken, some sides of coleslaw and mashed potato, and a cookie. Because I was really hungry already. This was the first time I also had sweet tea here in the US. It is making me miss Philippine iced tea. AND YES IT’S SO DIFFERENT. I want the lemon and sweet in it. But I am digressing.
So we ordered that. The chicken arrived with a honey butter dip. Insane. That dip would also go well with pancakes and biscuits to be honest. The combinations of the flavors were really good, and the chicken was really tender and yummy on its own too. I added some hot sauce to my chicken because it completes the taste of salty, sweet, creamy, and spicy. We ordered the 4 piece chicken and at the end of the meal, it felt like it was just too much. Portions are always huge. Why do I even wonder. But so good too.
