So I jumped on the bandwagon late. Not because I didn’t want to try it. More so that kale is hard to come by in Manila, and quite expensive. Unlike here, where every foodie has tried the cheap kale, and it is available in most supermarkets as well.
I wasn’t sure what to make of kale. A quick google yielded kale chips. Well, how bad can that be. Spray the kale with some oil, season with salt, and put in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. You have to spread them out quite widely so that the air will circulate around them and crisp them up.
It tasted like crunchy spinach. (Or those fried kangkong). I was happy Matt liked it too. Though we haven’t bought another one, I am willing to keep this in our regular grocery list, because, why not? 🙂
