When you want to be fancy about you dinner, but you really just want burgers, this is what happens. Ended up making oven-fried chips, pan-seared sugar snap peas, and a basil lime-ade to go with the burgers!
The most difficult thing here was the oven-fried chips, which, in all honesty, will never replace properly fried chips. Though the flavor was there, the crunch isn’t and it just makes you want crunchier chips. And this is why I also never try to replicate fried chicken here at home (I don’t like deep frying) and would just rather get it outside 🙂
