I was missing ramen and I asked Matt if we can have that one time. He brought me here, and I was looking forward to it. But let me describe the restaurant first. They are a mixed Asian restaurant that served Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese dishes. I was expecting the dish to not be like ramen already upon realizing this. All great ramen stores I have been too have very limited menu items because their ramen is totally worth it.
There was one “ramen” item on the dish, and it was supposed to be miso flavoured, its Japanese roots maybe. But it was very frustrating to eat it, without the rich broth. It was like a Chinese noodle soup, with Japanese ingredients, kinda thrown in. I really didn’t like it, or at least not going back to order ramen.
I would like to clarify that the other thing we ordered, spring roll, is good. So maybe their other dishes are good, especially with a lot of people eating there. But not their ramen. Nope.
