This drink has a lot of variations. I have tried before to make it with roasted chestnuts and it came out almost like a shake. The other time that Matt and I were in Berwyn Fresh Fruit Market, which has mostly Mexican products, I saw a bottled horchata drink and wanted to try it, just because. Matt told me he will bring me to a place to try it. We went to this Mexican restaurant/bar and ordered horchata and some tamales. I was surprised by how liquid it is, and how sweet. Basically, it was all different from what I know. I liked how it paired well with the tamale, but it will be too sweet on its own. I like the one I made with chestnuts more!
