Happy April Fool’s everyone! I am nearing my second monthsary in the US. Wow, that was quick.
And Fogo de Chao is the restaurant where we had our wedding lunch reception at. Nice and yummy food. Matt suggested it. We initially wanted to just do a dinner/lunch thing on our own, but with a group of people joining us, we opted to go here instead.
Fogo de Chao is a Brazilian restaurant. And in the same way we had Brazil Brazil in the Philippines, they have the red and green stops for meat to be served at your table, and a buffet for everything else. It was lunch on a weekday so cheaper than your weeknight or weekend meals. But so many options, so little tummy.
While I was able to take a picture of my plate from the Marketplace (what they call the buffet), I wasn’t able to take a picture of the meats. They also serve pao de quejo on the table, which I wasn’t able to take a picture of as well! My favorite from the Marketplace is smoked salmon of course. While the meats, I did love the lamb chops and the fatty steaks like rib-eye and flank steak, all medium rare.
The meats were all generally good and I did love how they were all still piping hot served on the table. Sadly, the desserts weren’t part of the buffet but had to be ordered separately. But they were good too. We had turtle cheesecake, while the others had Key-lime pie. Everything was really good, but too much. I cannot even finish regular meals/serving portions here, how much more buffet? 🙂
