Deadly Homemade Chili Garlic Sauce

Too much chili apparently

I buy from cousin (who knows someone who makes it) for my regular chili garlic sauce. I was looking up recipes and figured out it was easy enough to make. I don’t know anything about it except for a few googles. I think I ended up making a  hot sauce more than a chili garlic sauce. It is so spicy that I can only have half a teaspoon to a teaspoon for a whole meal! can you imagine how strong that is? 🙂

Deadly Chili Garlic Sauce Recipe

1/3 cup oil, or your preference
1/2 cup garlic, chopped
1/4 cup of minced chili (or less to taste)
1 cup water or broth
salt to taste
1/2 cup soy sauce
pinch of paprika
splash of vinegar
1/3 cup of sugar

Saute the garlic and chili in the oil until it softens. Make sure it doesn’t burn. Add the water, and season. Let this boil enough to melt the sugar and to make sure all the flavors are mixed well together. Taste. Adjust flavors as needed. You may leave it chunky, or opt to blend it for a finer sauce like I did.
