I have never tried bread that has been imported but sold here locally. It’s bread! And it goes bad and moldy fast. I wonder what made this bread last longer, but it didn’t hurt to try.
This one looked fancy and I decided to go do the healthy route and grabbed the sprouted flax seed bread. The other choices were low glycemic bread targeted for diabetics, and another one I can’t recall. A loaf cost about 3 times than the fastest moving brand here, but it was worth a try.
The bread was actually quite bland. It did have the flax seeds on it, you can see a lot of it on the thinly sliced bread, which was good. The blandness you kinda get used to eventually and it’s all good. True though that the Filipino tastes are quite stronger than the others. I think I will still stick with smaller local bread bakers for this line.
