I do love my ice cream and I think that’s one thing that I usually have a hard time turning down. I saw this at the recently opened local version of Costco called Landers. It was almost lunch time but it was going to take us a while to get seats, so I decided a little sweet appetizer won’t hurt me.
I ordered a strawberry cheesecake ice cream but interviewed the cashier and scooper up front. The brand is apparently from San Francisco. They have soy based ice cream and I felt dubious about it, more than curious. They did say that the soy based items are fast moving too. But they were the plain ones like soy French vanilla and others. So I went with my gut instincts.
The first scoop was heaven. You know when the ice cream is so thick that a spoonful stretches out almost like melted mozzarella. Doesn’t that look and feel good? And yep, it tastes great too.
