Chicken and White Lentil Biryani


So how about upping our protein on my favorite biryani? This was made exactly the same way as I do with my other biryanis. With freshly crushed spices like cumin, coriander, cardamom, cloves, and peppers. I also added ginger and turmeric, also crushed into a paste. But to all of this, I added soaked white lentils instead of rice. It worked quite well, but it will never be the same as biryani properly made with rice. And I miss it 🙂
