Matt made me jealous of his frozen pizza he had the other day and I needed to make one. If I don’t, I will end up binging on it. I didn’t necessarily need a whole fancy pizza. Even a fake one with the flavors of a pizza will work for me.
I still have flour tortillas leftover from my exploration the other day and this works fabulously as a thin pizza crust. I placed some olive oil, ketchup (yes), sliced fresh tomatoes, sliced onions, two kinds of cheese, and my homemade salami from earlier this year (I kept it in the fridge). I was supposed to serve it like this but we had chili oil and alfalfa sprout and it being thin and all, it was perfect for a Dear Darla style of eating. Meaning filling it with chili oil and alfalfa sprout. I was missing some arugula though, but that is okay.
All i did after assembling the pizza was bake it in a hot oven for about 15 to 20 minutes and that’s it. It came out really crispy! I would add TONS more tomatoes next time (I still have 2 tortillas left over) because it really tasted great baked!
