I rarely post something this specific but I was quite delighted with the flavors of this cake.
I remember having already tried the truffle and it being chocolatey as I think it should be. But honestly I was more curious about the Vanilla Caramel Cake. With my bunch of vanilla beans ready for use, I have been trying to figure out what recipe to follow to make. And I was hoping to get some inspiration from the cake. To be honest, I was specifically looking for the flavor of vanilla in there which I though was quite missing. But besides that fact, I think this cake was lovely. Moist and fluffy and light. Usually, I am not a fan of sponge cakes, but this one, I did like. It offset the heavier truffle cake and made a delicious pair (for two people) to have. I have the feeling mom will go gaga over this cake to be honest 🙂
