I have been spying this menu item on our first walk-in to the McCs (yeaaah, that’s how they say it, I’d still say McDo. MickeyDs for the others). So finally, on our last day, at the airport, we got our chance. We were early and we could have gotten the breakfast menu, but we opted to wait for 15 minutes until they served regular McDonald’s fare. 🙂
Anna ordered the clubhouse, which was filled to the brim with vegetables. I,, on the other hand, went with the less veggie, and ordered the Mighty Angus. My ordered basically had a slice of ham (to protect the bun, is it?), the Angus beef patty, red onions, and some sauce. The bun had some chili and chives, which added to the exclusive feel of the burger itself. 🙂
The patty should have been the main difference. But to be honest, it was good, but I would be as happy with a thicker quarter pounder. It was more tender too, but then its ground. But I think what won in the burger was the simple combination of cheese, meat and onion, with some of the sauce. It worked perfectly that I would happily go back and order this again if I had the chance to. 🙂 I wan’t you Mighty Angus!!!
