Soooo. I made the thai red curry paste a few days ago and it did not look too red. But it did taste good. So I figured it will be fine. Maybe it will be a bit redder upon cooking.. maybe.
I had ate Pines dice some chicken. I put this in a hot pan, then added half of what I made immediately. I tossed this around, added about 1/2 cup of milk, and covered it. I added a bit of salt, completely forgot bout adding some shrimp paste. But did it look good or what. And no, it did not turn out red, or green, or yellow. It turned out to be a bit of all the three. Now that’s cool, isn’t’ it?
Note that this ended up spicier than I would like, but really great nonetheless.
PS. Why did I not use coconut milk? Because I didn’t have any! 😦 I just used plain regular whole milk instead 🙂
