There are rarely new restaurants in SM Southmall that I like to try. But this one sprouted quite recently, in replacement of the Hainanese Chicken that closed its doors quickly. I wasn’t sure what their specialty is and we just went inside because there were less people in here.
I was surprised when I saw the menu and found some items costing as much as P1000 per order. Granted these were some kind of Japanese beef or something, and some were bento sets. But either way. Really? P1000? Is this the right target market.
We ended up ordering ramen and some salmon sashimi which were over-all just good, not memorable. I would still stick with Yushoken for the ramen, and any other restaurant for the rolls 🙂 Our order was simple and light, so it went well with P600. But I am not sure if I wanna try the P1000 meals 🙂
