I ate so much steak over the weekend, to be honest. There was the meal at Draft, and another one in Mamou. But we had some leftovers from Draft and I decided to make something out of it. Steak pasta.

I am “trying” to cut down on the unhealthy stuff (not obvious, I know) and I realized that I eat less when I eat noodles or pasta, instead of the usual serving I have. I seem to just not get enough rice immediately, so I eat too much. But anyway, i decided to make pasta out of the leftover steak.

I had some spaghetti noodles cooked, and chopped the garlic, and cut the steak into strips. In a hot pan, I sauteed the garlic, added the beef strips along with some mushroom slices, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.  Everything was allowed to sear first since the steak was mostly medium rare. Then i tossed in the pasta. I ended up adding more  soy sauce for flavor, and that was it.

Well, it wasn’t really the healthiest thing. But I ate just the right portion I think, so it wasn’t all bad for me. And it was really simple and good too 🙂
