It is when you go to a restaurant dubbed as a pub, and you actually go for the food, it is when you realize how good their food is. It was Saturday morning when we went to Draft, in the recently opened branch. There were other families dining there as well, and no beer on sight 😛

I talked about this before and was happily able to eat here recently with friends, and now with family on a bright sunny day. I knew it would be good, and damn great that everyone was happy too.

I recently got promoted at work (yay!) and this was my treat for them. So we ordered everything that we liked, and what looked good. And we were a happy bunch. We ordered some chopped salad, pepper steak for mom and minute steak for me, roast beef for my sister, and some baked chicken for Kuya Dino. We also ordered some mussels with laksa sauce for sharing around the table.

And know what? EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. We actually ordered too much of everything and were so full, with leftovers from the main meal. But we did have space for dessert anyway, though we just shared one order. But damn, we were happy. And I would think that this will become a favorite resto of the family soon.

The total damage was about P4000. it is an expensive meal. Almost like eating at Mamou, my favorite steak place. The Mamou’s steak is still yummier, the variety of the menu and nearness of Draft will make it a good hunt for us. 🙂

I would like to apologize for the lack of posts. I have been going away on weekends, or being distracted by other stuff, or going to my comfort-food restaurants that I haven’t really tried anything new. But I promise to come up with new stuff as soon as I can.
