I was with Ara and we were scouting for new places to eat. Actually, she was scouting for new places to eat at, I was just, “Let’s just eat here.” Glad I have supportive friends who push me even if I don’t wanna be pushed. So we went around Mall of Asia and landed here. It looked new. I did mention it looked like a clinic, with the blues and whites. They are supposed to be mimicking the feel of Greece, I guess. But yeah, a clinic.

We ordered hummus, Ara had a gyro and a coffee and I ordered a plate of stewed beef, a gyro, some rice in grape leaves and a salad. The food was good actually, but I wasn’t that hungry. Or the hummus with pita made me full. But either way, I only ate half of my food, but I can imagine scarfing down the whole thing with no problem usually.
The hummus was surprisingly on the sour side, which was a first for me. It wasn’t bad, just different. I wanted more of a garlicky taste to mine. The gyro was good, great actually, and with the hot sauce, intense. 🙂 The rest of the dish were fine, nothing unusual, but nothing to ignore either. 🙂

The bill came out to about P500, which I think was not bad at all. The thing is, their lamb is hella expensive. And that is usually what I like. But with the price here, I am turned off and stuck to beef instead. And honestly, the colors look funny. I think maybe a white-heavy theme with accents of blue instead of screaming BLUE all over. 🙂
I hope this resto lasts a while. The last Greek restaurant I tried and like closed up soon after we ate there. 😦
try Kos in UP Town Center. good food, good price! 🙂
Sige. Pag umabot ako dyan! 🙂
