Suribachi! Finally!

Ever since the first time I ate at Yabu and experienced using a suribachi, I have been wanting to find my own for grinding stuff. It can actually be used to grate other stuff like wasabi and horseradish, which I don’t have access to generally. But they are good for grinding sesame seeds and other stuff, maybe peanuts and coriander seeds. I have yet to use mine, but I am excited.

20140118_110642I have actually been looking for one of these in all the Japanese supply stores (like dollar stores but all items coming from Japan instead, and got this for P88. Not bad I think. I am excited to make sesame salad dressings using this one 🙂
