Bacon Spaghetti

Mom has her own favorite foods, and oddly enough, this heavily meaty spaghetti is one of her favorites. And when I say meaty, I mean bacon. And when I say bacon, I mean 750 grams of bacon. Usually, when using bacon or pancetta in pasta, it acts as a base flavoring. This one uses it as you would use ground meat. Indecent amount, but maybe that’s why she likes it. 🙂

This recipe was actually from my ate’s friend. I have stopped using recipes for pasta since a couple of years ago when I can make it already from scratch and based on taste. But this one was something mom wanted and have already tried. So I decided to vaguely use the recipe she has and still adjusted everything to taste. 🙂

Bacon Spaghetti Recipe

750 grams of bacon, minced (we use bacon crumble)
1 onion, minced
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium pimiento, diced
1 big can of crushed tomatoes
1 big can of diced tomatoes
