Last time I ate at this group of restaurants (Milky Way) I felt that it was overpriced, so-so food. Target market, I assumed, were the oldies of richy rich money, who don’t mind spending an overpriced meal with the kind of food. And though I agreed heartily to try this restaurant out when suggested by friends, I agreet simply because it was something new to try.
It was a spanish restaurant, with Milky Way being a pinoy resto. We ordered paellas all around, 3 kinds, plus salpicao, some beef belly, crispy pata, and a chicken dish. Honestly, I had the same thoughts of the food as i did Milky Way. Not bad, not brilliant.
There were a lot of food going around, and that I loved. Nobody ended up hungry. But except for the mixings of the paella, I couldn’t differentiate the negra from the cirkulo to the truffle one. Maybe color, but not the flavor. Which is a fail for me.
The salpicao was good. But yeah, along with beef belly, not memorable. We paid P1100 each, and though that’s what we average whenever we see each other during Christmas, more or less, the food was less yummy than I wanted. Good enough tht at the great company more than made up for it. 🙂
