Quick Eats: Zong, Westgate, Alabang

Roast platter

This is actually one of mom’s favorite restaurants. It never was mine. I think I started eating here when I was too young to appreciate what kind of they had. But seeing a 50% off coupon online, and knowing that this is my mom’s fave, I bought two! The website, which I am not plugging, has more offers, but what I got was P2000 value sold at P1000! So yay!

I knew that P2000 value of food is too much for the two of us. But knowing that the food can be taken out, we just ordered what we wanted. So we got the roast platter combination, some prawn hakaw and pork siomai, yang chow fried rice, fried chicken with salted egg yolk, and steamed shrimp on tofu. We could have feed 4 to 5 people, but you know 😛

And you know what? EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. The tastes were simple, very clean. But they were great. I tried a bit of everything. Surprisingly though, the least one that I liked was the roast platter combination. Maybe we should have stuck to one kind, because they were all beginning to taste teh same after a while. But the roasted pork had skin that crunched to perfection. 🙂

Good good good. I am willing to eat here again, soon 🙂
